It’s a ready-to-use kit that includes everything you need to apply our DIY microcement on non-absorbent surfaces like tiles, marble, terrazzo or vinyl. No building work. Just fast and simple renovation.
Each component is specially formulated to deliver high performance, resistance, and ease of use on large surfaces. From the joint filler to the final varnish, everything is designed so you can apply it precisely and confidently—even if it’s your first time.
Here’s what you’ll find inside:

How to apply the microcement kit for 96 m² kitchen floors with joints: a big surface, zero complications
96 m² may sound like a lot… but with this microcement kit, the only big thing is the result. The application is just as easy as with smaller surfaces: same technique, same steps, same DIY spirit.
Follow this step-by-step guide and transform your jointed kitchen floor on a large scale — no building work, no stress, and full control from start to finish:
1. Prepare the surface
Clean the floor thoroughly — no grease, dust or food residues. It must be dry and solid. Then, fill in the annoying, uneven joints using Smart Jointer until they’re completely level.
📌 Smartcret Tip: use masking tape to outline the areas you’ll work on. It’ll make the application more comfortable and mess-free.
2. Apply the primer
Using a roller, apply a uniform coat of Smart Primer PLUS. This water-based primer ensures perfect adhesion of the microcement on non-absorbent surfaces like tiles or marble. Let it dry for 30 minutes before moving on.
3. Build a solid base with Smart Base
Stir the product well and apply two thin coats of Smart Base (less than 1 mm per coat) using the Smart Roller and smooth it out with a trowel. Always work at a 45° angle and sand between coats with 40-grit sandpaper (wait 6 hours between coats). You’ll already start seeing the transformation.
4. Add texture and style with Smart Medio
Apply two thin coats of Smart Medio (less than 0.5 mm per coat) using the same method: Smart Roller, 45° trowel, 6-hour drying between coats, and a gentle sanding with 80-grit paper. Your kitchen floor will begin to show its new character.
5. Seal and protect with Smart Varnish + Smart Booster
Mix Smart Varnish with Smart Booster and apply 3 coats, allowing 4 hours of drying time between each. Sand the first and second layers with 400-grit paper. After a 7-day curing period, your kitchen floor will be ready for anything… and to be admired.
* Important: always keep your trowel angled at 45° during application. Using a different tool from the one in the application kit may affect the final result. And remember: the sanding sheets included are for manual use only. Avoid electric sanders — too much pressure can burn the surface.
