Description of Smart Jointer: Grout Filler

Smart Jointer tile filler is a ready-to-use paste filler for manual application with a spatula or trowel. Its main function is to fill the joints of tiled and mosaic surfaces, both in kitchens and bathrooms, before applying ready-to-use microcement. It’s ideal for these spaces due to its high resistance to running water and humidity.

Smart Jointer tile filler offers excellent adhesion on tiles and ceramics, and can also be applied to plaster, plasterboard, concrete, bricks, stone, mortar, painted surfaces, etc. In addition, this tile joint filler dries quickly and can be sanded for a completely smooth finish.

Application of Smart Jointer: Grout Filler

Before applying the tile grout filler, the substrate must be dry, free of dust, lime and dirt. Stir the product manually with a spatula before application.

Apply the tile joint filler with a spatula or trowel, with a maximum thickness of up to 4 mm per coat.

Allow the tile grouting to dry for 12 to 24 hours before applying the ready to use microcement.

Caution:

  • Do not apply tile grout filler at temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C, or at humidities of more than 80%.
  • Do not apply tile grout filler over heated surfaces or in direct sunlight.
  • Do not apply the tile grout filler on substrates subject to permanent humidity.
