1 Smart Jointer 1,5 kg: highly-adhesive and fast drying filler and smoothing putty for filling tile and gresite grout joints. Its main function is to smooth the substrate before the application of Smartcret ready-to-use microcement. It is also resistant to water and environmental humidity. Available for different types of grout joints depending on their size.
1 Smart Primer GRIP 2Kg: aadhesion promoter with ready-to-use aggregate for interiors and exteriors. After application, a rough surface is achieved, ensuring excellent adhesion on substrates.
2 Smart Base 8Kg: ready to use microcement with pigmented preparation. This highly adherent microcement has a larger granulometry and is applied as a base prior to the application of Smart LISO microcement.
1 Smart Liso 6Kg: ready to use microcement with a pigmented finish. This highly adherent microcement has a smaller grain size and is applied as the last layer in the application of the Smartcret microcement system. A burnt or water effect can be achieved during application.
Sandpaper discs for sanding the different layers during the application of the Smartcret microcement Smart Kit for tiled surfaces: 5 sandpaper 40 grit, 10 sandpaper 220 grit and 5 sandpaper 400 grit.
1 Smart Varnish 2L: water-based varnish indicated for the protection of microcement with high resistance to abrasion, cleaning agents, wear and sunlight. Enhances the color of ready to use microcement. Available in matte or satin finish.

Application of Smart Microcement Kit for Tiled Surfaces (86ft2)

Before applying the ready-to-use microcement kit for tiled surfaces, the surface must be cleaned and grease-free. Once dry, outline the area you'd like to apply on with adhesive tape.
Fill the grout joints with a spatula or trowel using a layer of Smart Jointer. Let it dry for 24 hours. Sand the surface with 40-grit sandpaper.
Apply one layer of Smart Primer GRIP with a roller. Stir it manually beforehand. Wait between 2 and 4 hours for proper drying.
Dip the Smart Roller in the Smart Base and spread the microcement thinly (less than 1mm) on the wall vertically, then horizontally. Smooth it out with the polycarbonate trowel using arcing motions in all directions. Repeat this process until the surface is completely covered and smooth. Allow 6 hours of drying time between layers and sand after each layer with a 40-grit sandpaper. Apply a total of 2 layers of Smart Base.
Follow the same process with the Smart Liso. Use the Smart Roller and the polycarbonate trowel to spread the microcement thinly (less than 0.5mm) until the surface is fully covered. Allow 6 hours of drying time between layers and sand after each layer using a 220-grit sandpaper. Remove the adhesive tape immediately after application or after it has dried completely. Apply a total of 2 layers of Smart Liso. Let it dry for 24 hours after the final coat.
Apply adhesive tape again and apply 3 layers of Smart Varnish with a roller. Apply 4 layers in humid areas and high-traffic floors. Remove the adhesive tape immediately after application or after complete drying. Allow 4 hours of drying between layers. Sand the first and second layers with 400-grit sandpaper.
We recommend letting Smart Vanish varnish reach its peak performance within 7 days.

IMPORTANT: if the substrate on which you want to apply microcement is in poor condition (cracks, knocks, flaking, excess humidity...), it must be rectified before applying the Smartcret microcement kit.
