• Soft tools only: cloths, rags or soft wipes. Skip scouring pads or metal brushes—these will scratch your beautiful microcement kitchen walls.
• No harsh chemicals: avoid bleach or ammonia—your walls don’t need them.

1. Clean and erase the past

Thoroughly clean and degrease the tiles. Repair any small imperfections. Fill all the grout lines with Smart Jointer to level the surface.

Drying time: 24 hours.

2. Adhesion that works

Apply one coat of Smart Primer PLUS on non-absorbent surfaces (marble, mosaic, tiles, porcelain).

Drying time: 30 minutes.

3. Base with character (goodbye tile “pattern”)

Apply two coats of Smart Base. Spread with Smart Roller and smooth with a trowel at a 45° angle in thin layers.

Between coats: 6 hours of drying, sand lightly (grit 40) and remove dust.

4. A finish you’ll love to touch

Apply two coats of Smart Liso for a silky texture and a seamless, continuous surface.

Between coats: 6 hours, sand very lightly (grit 220) and remove dust.

5. Seal for real life

Mix Smart Booster with Smart Varnish and apply three thin coats (matte or satin).

Allow 4 hours between coats. Sand the first and second coats with grit 400.

Full cure: 7 days.

🧠 Pro tips that make the difference

• Sand gently by hand between coats—take your time. An electric sander can “burn” the finish.
• Always hold the trowel at 45°; it’s the key to a perfectly smooth surface without surprises.
• Less is more: apply thin, even layers. Too much product can cause cracks.
• Protect and ventilate. Use painter’s tape to mask edges and cover the countertop, floor and any furniture with plastic sheeting.
• Stains: clean them quickly. The Smart Varnish + Smart Booster combo offers strong chemical resistance (oil or vinegar for up to ~8 h), but the sooner you wipe, the better. Clean your kitchen walls with water and pH-neutral soap; for a pro finish, use our Smart Cleaner.
• Respect drying times. Our varnish reaches maximum resistance after seven days—don’t rush it!
