Paints for tiles, walls, floors and pools

Smartcover is the Smartcret range of paints for renovating without building work: they go over the surface you already have and are made to be applied with no previous experience. Four paints, one per surface. The exact price for your country is shown on each one below.

Smartcover Tiles paints bathroom and kitchen tiles with no primer, which is the step that usually complicates this job. Smartcover Indoor is the one for walls and ceilings, odourless, so you can paint with the house lived in. Smartcover Floor is epoxy and takes the traffic of a garage floor. And Smartcover Pool is formulated for cement and concrete pools.

Each one is made for its surface and they are not interchangeable: what stands up to the water in a pool is not what stands up to car tyres. If you are torn between painting and coating, microcement gives a seamless finish and more thickness, and paint is quicker and cheaper.

I found this product because I was so sick of cleaning tile grout. I wanted the Tadelakt look without spending $$$. The process takes time but the result was worth it. Only use the plastic trowel — a metal one leaves black marks. The Smartcret team was very helpful. I love my new shower and get so many compliments on it!
