How to apply Smartcover Floor
Substrate preparation
- Unpainted cement/concrete mortars: allow full curing (~1 month). Remove loose parts and contaminants. Use a suitable primer (ABS for absorbent / Plus for non-absorbent substrates).
- Previously painted surfaces: check adhesion, repair unsound areas and prime accordingly.
Application
- Stir thoroughly until homogeneous.
- Tools: roller/brush; for spray, dilute 20–25% with water.
- Conditions: apply between 10–35 °C, RH < 70%.
- Coats: 2–3 thin coats. ≈30 min touch dry; 3–4 h between coats.
- Cleaning: tools with water immediately after use.
