Why Smartcover Pool?
Smartcover Pool vs. epoxy paint
Smartcover Pool (water-based acrylic): easier application and faster drying; suitable for concrete/cement pools; good chlorine resistance within standard limits.
Epoxy: more complex application and stricter curing times/conditions; not always suitable for alkaline substrates without special preparation.
Smartcover Pool vs. “tile paint”
Smartcover Pool: formula designed for concrete/cement basins, resistant to water and substrate alkalinity.
Tile paint: designed for interior ceramic coverings; not the right choice for concrete pool shells.
Available colors
White and Blue: classics that highlight brightness and water tone.
How to paint your pool with Smartcover Pool
Step 1 · Clean and prepare
If new, let the concrete cure for 1 month and isolate the basin from ground moisture.
Remove dust, oils, and loose paint; sand and clean (Smart Cleaner optional). Rinse thoroughly.
Let dry completely before painting.
Step 2 · Apply 2–3 coats
Mix the paint; apply with roller or brush. For spray gun, dilute 20–25%.
Allow 4–6 hours between coats. Apply a third if coverage is lacking.
Wait 10–15 days before filling the pool.
