First, the surface must be cleaned and prepared, leaving it free from dust, grease or any residue; next, the primer is applied to ensure proper adhesion of the microcement; then comes the microcement itself (3 thin coats, allowing 6 hours of drying time between each coat and sanding in between); and finally, 3 coats of protective varnish must be applied to achieve a smooth, elegant finish that is protected against daily use, friction and stains.

*This point deserves special attention, as all kits include the appropriate sandpaper grits for manual sanding.
