Everything you need to know before you start

What’s included and what do I need separately?

The kit includes all the Smartcret system products needed for your surface and your square metres: you will find them detailed one by one, with their quantities, in the ‘Description’ tab below. You will also need a sealer roller, a polycarbonate trowel and basic protection and application tools. The microcement comes ready to use, already pigmented; only the final coat of varnish is mixed with its booster.

How do I choose the coverage?

Measure the surface to be covered: for walls, width × height of each section; for floors, worktops or furniture, length × width of each face. Subtract only large openings, add up the total and add a 10% margin. Choose the kit whose m² is equal to or greater than the result; if in doubt between two, go for the larger one. You can also use the calculator in the selector.

How long does the project take?

The full project takes 3 days. The varnish reaches full cure from 7 days.

Can I return or exchange the kit?

Yes: you have 15 days from receipt for exchanges and returns. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense and you will need the invoice to process it. See the full conditions.

Is it right for my surface?

Each kit is formulated for a specific project and surface: you will find it in the kit name and in the line with ✓ above the coverage selector. If your surface is different (for example, plasterboard instead of tiles), use the assistant at the top and we will take you to the right kit. First repair any loose piece, active crack or damp problem.

You're about to discover everything you need (and everything that's in this kit) to turn a forgotten table into the jewel of your home.

Inside our 12 m² microcement table kit, you’ll find just the right amount of materials to dive into the no-reno zone—no stress. A single mix — the varnish with its enhancer at the end.

Professional-grade products with a DIY soul:

- 2 x Smart Primer ABS (1 L): water-based primer to help microcement stick perfectly to your surface—no excuses.

- 2 x Smart Liso (6 Kg): ready-to-use microcement, pre-pigmented and with a silky texture. For a smooth, seamless, and super stylish finish.

- 2 x Smart Varnish (1 L + 2 L): water-based sealer that protects your table from scratches, spills, and coffee accidents. Available in matte or satin finish.

- Sanding discs included: 12 sheets of 220 grit and 6 sheets of 400 grit. Perfect for manual sanding between layers.

Application

Awesome Table Mode: ON. How to apply the 12 m² microcement kit for tables

Got a boring table? Get ready to give it a second life (and what a life). No worries—yes, you can even create it from scratch if you want.

Here’s how to apply the 12 m² microcement kit for tables and turn yours into a total showstopper. No fuss, no weird mixes, and zero need for a DIY diploma. Just you and your hands.

1. Prep your table

Remove dust, grease, croissant crumbs and all traces of the past. Clean and dry surface = guaranteed success. Pro tip: mark the area with masking tape to apply stress-free.

2. Time to prime

Grab the roller and apply one coat of Smart Primer ABS. This water-based primer is key to make the microcement stick to your table. Let it dry for about 30 minutes. That’s it.

3. Microcement in 3, 2, 1...

Stir Smart Liso well, apply a thin layer (under 0.5 mm) with the roller and smooth with the trowel at a 45º angle, using gentle strokes. Let dry 6 h and sand with 220 grit. Repeat 2 more times. With 3 layers, your table will already be glowing.

4. Varnish like a pro

Apply 3 coats of Smart Varnish, letting each one dry for 4 hours. Sand the first and second coat with 400 grit. That’s it! After 7 days of curing, your table will be ready to shine (and handle it all, morning coffee included).

Golden tips: don’t use an electric sander (it could burn the surface). If you do, avoid too much pressure. Our sandpaper is made for manual sanding. Always apply the trowel at 45°. Don’t risk it with just any trowel—you might cry later. The one in our toolkit is burn-proof for a flawless finish.
