This ready-to-use kit has everything you need to turn a basic table into a one-of-a-kind piece. A continuous surface, seamless finish, soft texture and calm, elegant vibe that fits perfectly into the most minimalist or design-forward interiors.
This microcement kit is packed with 100% professional-grade products, specially designed to transform tables made of wood, chipboard, MDF or similar materials into true icons of interior design. Because exclusive pieces aren’t always bought… sometimes, they’re made.
- 1 unit of Smart Primer ABS (1 L): water-based acrylic primer. Its main job is to improve adhesion between the surface and the microcement, while evening out absorption across the entire table.
- 1 unit of Smart Liso (6 Kg): ready-to-use finishing microcement, pre-pigmented in your chosen color. Its finely grained texture creates a smooth, silky, touchable surface.
- 1 unit of Smart Varnish (2 L): water-based polyurethane varnish. Ready to use, it seals and protects the microcement against wear, moisture and daily life. Bonus: it enhances the color of your surface. Available in matte and satin.
- Sanding discs included: the perfect grit for your project. 6 units of 220-grit and 3 units of 400-grit for that flawless finish.

Application
How to apply the 6 m² microcement table kit (no drama, no mystery)
Turning a dull table into a stunning microcement showpiece isn’t an epic quest—if you know where to start. With this step-by-step guide, you’ll transform any boring surface into the kind of table you’ll proudly show off to every guest. Let’s get to it!
1. Clean your table like guests are coming
Before diving in, make sure the surface is in perfect condition. Clean it thoroughly and remove any traces of grease or dirt. Once dry, it’s time to prime.
2. Priming made easy
Apply one coat of Smart Primer ABS using a roller. This water-based primer is key for helping the microcement stick properly to your table. Let it dry for about 30 minutes. Easy peasy.
3. Three layers of microcement: let the magic begin!
Stir Smart Liso well and apply a thin first layer (<0.5 mm) using the Smart Roller. Smooth it out with the trowel using gentle strokes at a 45° angle. Let it dry for 6 hours and sand with 220 grit. Repeat the process until you’ve applied 3 layers in total. Once done, let the surface rest for 24 hours before varnishing.
4. Varnish it and show off your masterpiece!
Apply 3 coats of Smart Varnish, allowing 4 hours of drying time between each one. Sand the first and second coats with 400 grit. Keep in mind: the varnish mixture stays usable for 24 h, so stay on schedule. After 7 days, your table will be fully protected, beautifully finished and ready for anything (coffee mugs included!).
Smartcret tip: always hold the trowel at a 45° angle. Don’t use an electric sander—it could burn the microcement. The sanding papers in the kit are for manual use, and our anti-burn trowel from the tools kit is your best ally for a smooth, worry-free finish.
