Microcement kit for countertops
With countertops there are two worlds: absorbent substrates (built/masonry) and non-absorbent substrates (tiles/polished stone). That’s why Smartcret separates the kits, and in each case the primer and the “first step” change: for countertops with grout joints, a joint filler is added to level the surface; for built countertops, you work directly on the absorbent substrate with the appropriate primer.
Another important point: the microcement countertop kits state that they are intended for bathroom countertops and that they are not recommended for kitchen countertops (no warranty) due to direct heat, cutting, and the risk of stains if they are not cleaned in time.
