Smart Cleaner: Microcement cleaner

Smart Cleaner is the cleaner in the Smartcret system for floors, walls and any sealed microcement surface, and it also works on other floorings. It is a concentrated cleaner based on non-ionic surfactants, with a pH of 9-10, ecological and biodegradable, effective on stubborn dirt and on stains that soap does not remove, and gentle on Smart Varnish, which is what bleach, ammonia, vinegar and descalers are not.

Dosage: 40-50 ml per 5 litres of water, applied with a mop and rinsed off. A 5 L container is enough for between 100 and 125 washes, that is, more than a year of weekly cleaning; the price is shown above. On a freshly applied varnish, wait two weeks before the first use.

Precautions:

Before cleaning with Smart Cleaner microcement cleaner, wait at least two weeks after the application of Smart Varnish to ensure proper curing and to avoid damaging the microcement.

I found this product because I was so sick of cleaning tile grout. I wanted the Tadelakt look without spending $$$. The process takes time but the result was worth it. Only use the plastic trowel — a metal one leaves black marks. The Smartcret team was very helpful. I love my new shower and get so many compliments on it!
