Smart Booster: Component B

Smart Booster is component B of Smart Varnish. It is added to the varnish container, stirred, left to rest for 5-10 minutes and applied with a roller as always: the number of coats and the timings do not change. What changes is the resistance: with Smart Booster the varnish stands up better to stains, rubbing and daily cleaning (Shore hardness 218 and Taber abrasion 46 in the mixture).

It is used in wet areas or areas of heavy use: shower, bathroom, kitchen, floors, outdoors and furniture. That is why it is included in the bathroom, kitchen, floors and stairs, outdoor floors, outdoor walls, and furniture and tables kits; on dry interior walls and fireplaces it is not needed.

Three containers, one for each size of Smart Varnish: 50 g for the 1 L varnish, 100 g for the 2 L one and 250 g for the 5 L one (the dose is 50 g per litre). The mixture has a pot life of 24 hours, so you only prepare the varnish you are going to apply that day.

It's important to note that Smart Booster has a 24-hour shelf life after being mixed with Smart Varnish.

Smart Booster significantly enhances Smart Varnish's ability to protect and enhance microcement coatings, providing a high-quality finish and improved appearance.

Available in 50 g, 100 g and 250 g containers, this component is ideal for maximizing the effectiveness and durability of microcement projects with Smart Varnish.

I found this product because I was so sick of cleaning tile grout. I wanted the Tadelakt look without spending $$$. The process takes time but the result was worth it. Only use the plastic trowel — a metal one leaves black marks. The Smartcret team was very helpful. I love my new shower and get so many compliments on it!
