No builders, no building work, no complications. You apply it yourself, at your own pace, in the colour and finish you choose. In just a few days, you’ll have a bathroom that looks like it was designed by an interior designer—but done with your own hands thanks to these products:
- 2 × Smart Primer ABS 1 L – The primer that ensures microcement grips onto absorbent surfaces such as plasterboard or plaster.
- 2 × Smart Base 16 Kg – The preparation microcement that levels and gives strength to the new wall finish.
- 2 × Smart Liso (3 Kg and 6 Kg) – The finishing microcement that delivers the smooth, continuous, and elegant texture you’re looking for.
- 2 × Smart Varnish 2 L – The varnish that protects your microcement walls against moisture, water, and abrasion. Available in matte or satin.
- 2 × Smart Booster 100 g – The additive that maximises the chemical resistance of the varnish.

Application
Step-by-step: how to apply your 16 m² microcement kit on bathroom walls on absorbent surfaces
Transforming your bathroom walls on absorbent surfaces with this microcement kit isn’t rocket science—though it does have its tricks. Here’s how to get a finish so smooth and continuous it looks professional… even though you did it yourself: no building work, no dust, no drama.
1) Get the surface ready
Make sure the walls have no cracks, dents or similar defects. If they do, repair first. Clean and mask the areas you won’t coat. If there’s dust or grease, say goodbye to it—adhesion will thank you.
2) Prime with character
Apply Smart Primer ABS over the entire surface. It’s the primer for absorbent substrates like drywall, plaster or cement that makes the microcement grip like a tattoo.
3) Strong layer, happy layer
Spread the first coat of Smart Base with the Smart Roller, then smooth with the polycarbonate trowel at a 45° angle. Let it dry 6 h and sand lightly with grit 40. Repeat the process and apply a second coat.
4) Smooth and perfect the job
Time for Smart Liso: two thin coats, sanding between them with grit 220, with 6 h drying each—voilà. That continuous, addictive texture looks like Photoshop, but it’s real.
5) Seal and shine (or not)
Mix Smart Booster with Smart Varnish and apply 3 coats with a roller, with 4 h drying between coats and a light sand with grit 400 after the first and second. Choose matte or satin (if you want more shine).
6) Show it off
Remove protections, clean and… selfie with your new microcement bathroom wall! Note: the varnish reaches its maximum chemical resistance from day 7.
💡 Tips to avoid mishaps:
- Respect drying times. Skipping them is like baking a cake in a cold oven—the result won’t be what you want.
- Manual sanding is a MUST. An electric sander can “burn” the product due to excessive pressure.
- Always apply thin coats. The thicker the layer, the higher the risk of cracking.
- Angle matters: always 45°.
- Our burn-free trowel is designed to avoid unwanted marks—we recommend it for a spotless finish.
