What’s inside the 4 m² microcement kit for absorbent bathroom walls
A more modern bathroom starts here. This box contains the perfect kit to apply microcement to your absorbent bathroom walls (up to 4 m²) and achieve a continuous, timeless and water-resistant finish in record time:
- 1 Smart Primer ABS (0.5 L): water-based acrylic primer. Its main function is to improve adhesion between the surface and the microcement, while evening out absorption across the area.
- 1 Smart Base (8 Kg): ready-to-use preparation microcement. A coloured product with coarser grain applied at the base to provide consistency. It does not offer the final finish.
- 1 Smart Liso (3 Kg): ready-to-use finishing microcement. Coloured and finer-grained than Smart Base, it delivers the smooth, uniform aesthetic that defines microcement.
- 1 Smart Varnish (1 L): water-based polyurethane sealer, ready to use. It protects microcement from external agents like abrasion and moisture, while enhancing its colour. Available in matte and satin finishes.
- 1 Smart Booster (50 g): a B-component additive for the varnish that boosts protection against chemicals, adds hardness and increases abrasion resistance.
- Sanding discs for prepping each layer. Includes: 3 discs of grit 40, 5 of grit 220 and 3 of grit 400.

Application
How to apply the 4 m² microcement kit for absorbent bathroom walls
There’s something special about your absorbent bathroom walls: they’re a blank canvas to create from scratch. And this ready-to-use microcement kit is made for you—someone who wants to shape their ideas without renovations or previous experience. Ready to roll up your sleeves and get down to no-reno business?
1. Clean up and assess
Remove dust and make sure your cement, concrete or plasterboard walls are dry and solid. That’s your starting point to turn rough into remarkable. If there are dents or imperfections, repair them before applying microcement.
2. Prime and conquer
Apply an even coat of Smart Primer ABS. This primer is the perfect ally for absorbent surfaces like the ones in your bathroom. Let it dry for 30 minutes and get ready for change.
3. Bring in the base
Time for muscle: two coats of Smart Base. Apply the first with the Smart Roller, then smooth it with a trowel held at 45°. Wait 6 hours between coats and sand gently with grit 40. Now your design is taking shape.
4. The signature finish
Now for the good part: two coats of Smart Liso for that seamless, elegant and durable finish. Sand between coats (grit 220) and get ready to be amazed. Texture you’ll want to touch.
5. Protection that lasts
Your creation deserves to stay flawless. Mix Smart Booster with Smart Varnish and apply 3 coats. Choose a matte or satin finish and let the varnish work its magic. Wait 4 hours between coats and sand with grit 400 after the first two.
🧠 Smart Tips for trendsetters:
✔️ Hold your trowel at a 45º angle. The wrong angle can affect the texture and final look.
✔️ Less is more: always apply thin coats. Too much product leads to lumps and flaws.
✔️ Tool choice matters. Our polycarbonate trowel (not included in this kit) prevents burn marks and unsightly lines. A different trowel may ruin the finish.
✔️ Sand by hand with care. The sanding discs in this kit are made for manual use. Power sanders can burn the microcement and ruin the surface.
