This solution is designed to renovate jointed surfaces (tiles, mosaic, floor tiles…) without removing them. Check these four points before choosing size and colour.

Compatible surface

Surfaces with stable joints: tiles, mosaic, floor tiles, terrazzo or marble. This is not the right kit for plaster, drywall or cement substrates.

Coverage

Measure the height × width of each surface. The calculator adds a 10% margin and recommends the right kit size, or a combination for larger projects.

What's included

Joint filler, primer, microcement base coats, finish, varnish, additive and sandpaper: the complete layer-by-layer system.

What you need separately

Sealer roller, polycarbonate trowel and basic tools. You can find them in microcement tools.

What’s included and what do I need separately?

The kit includes all the Smartcret system products needed for your surface and your square metres: you will find them detailed one by one, with their quantities, in the ‘Description’ tab below. You will also need a sealer roller, a polycarbonate trowel and basic protection and application tools. The microcement comes ready to use, already pigmented; only the final coat of varnish is mixed with its booster.

How do I choose the coverage?

Measure the surface to be covered: for walls, width × height of each section; for floors, worktops or furniture, length × width of each face. Subtract only large openings, add up the total and add a 10% margin. Choose the kit whose m² is equal to or greater than the result; if in doubt between two, go for the larger one. How long does the project take?

The full project takes 3 days. The varnish reaches full cure from 7 days.

Can I return or exchange the kit?

Yes: you have 15 days from receipt for exchanges and returns. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense and you will need the invoice to process it. See the full conditions.

Is it right for my surface?

Each kit is formulated for a specific project and surface: you will find it in the kit name and in the line with ✓ above the coverage selector. If your surface is different (for example, plasterboard instead of tiles), use the assistant at the top and we will take you to the right kit. First repair any loose piece, active crack or damp problem.

With this microcement kit, you can cover up to 4 m² of walls, shower tray or both. Small size, huge impact. The kind of change that’ll make you wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. Each shower becomes pure calm: no joints, no slips, full of style and 100% water-resistant. And the best part? You’ll do it yourself. No construction, no hassle. Because at Smartcret, we stand for Do It Yourself above all else.

The kit includes:

1 × Smart Jointer (1.5 Kg): ready-to-use filler for covering joints and smoothing the surface.
1 × Smart Primer PLUS (0.5 L): primer to ensure adhesion on non-absorbent surfaces.
1 × Smart Base (8 Kg): pigmented preparation microcement to build up the base.
1 × Smart Liso (3 Kg): ready-to-use finishing microcement. Smooth, strong and hassle-free.
1 × Smart Varnish (1 L): water-based sealer that protects and finishes. Choose matte or satin.
1 × Smart Booster (50 g): the extra boost to make your varnish even tougher.
3 sanding sheets (grit 40), 5 sheets (grit 220) and 3 sheets (grit 400): for perfect prep between layers.

📌 Important:

Tools not included — but you can add our accessory kit with roller, trowel and more.
Using an electric sander? Careful with the pressure — too much can ruin the finish.
Microcement is water-resistant, but not standing-water-proof. If you’re covering the shower tray, make sure the slope towards the drain is at least 10%.

Application

From tiles and mosaics to paradise: apply your 4 m² microcement kit for non-absorbent showers step by step

Transforming your shower (yes, by yourself) isn’t just possible — it’s easy and basically a must. This microcement kit for non-absorbent showers up to 4 m² is designed so that anyone with some motivation and a little skill can achieve a magazine-worthy result.

Say goodbye to tile and mosaic joints: in just 5 simple steps and without construction work, you’ll enjoy a brand-new shower. Ready to begin?

1. No more joints, please

Fill all visible joints with Smart Jointer and sand once dry. The goal? A base as smooth as a blank canvas.

2. Prep the surface

Apply Smart Primer PLUS with a roller and let it work its magic for 30 minutes. It’s the invisible bond between your base and the microcement.

3. Shape it with Smart Base

Apply 2 thin coats of Smart Base with the Smart Roller and smooth out with the trowel at a 45° angle. Wait 6 h between coats and sand with grit 40. Smells like transformation already.

4. Show off with Smart Liso

Two more thin coats, this time with Smart Liso. Same technique, sand between coats with grit 220 and... your shower starts to shine!

5. Protection with extra power

Mix Smart Varnish with Smart Booster and apply 3 coats. Wait 4 h between each, sanding the first and second with grit 400. After 7 days — when the varnish reaches peak performance — you’ll have a brand-new, safe, and slip-resistant shower.

🚿 Smartcret Pro Tips:

Always sand by hand. Electric sanders can burn the microcement if pressure is too high.
Keep your trowel at a 45° angle.
Applying on the shower tray? Make sure water drains properly — you’ll need a 10% slope toward the drain.
