Concrete or cement stairs? Not for long! Meet the products that will make your dream transformation a reality:
- 1 Smart Primer ABS 0.5 L – ensures perfect adhesion of the microcement on absorbent concrete or cement steps.
- 1 Smart Base 8 Kg – the base coat microcement that builds strength and structure.
- 1 Smart Medio 4 Kg – the final touch: a thicker finish microcement for safe, non-slip steps.
- 1 Smart Varnish 1 L – full protection without compromising the look, so your new stairs can handle constant foot traffic.

Application
Step up your game: how to apply the 4 m² microcement kit for concrete stairs
Your concrete stairs won’t renovate themselves… but almost. With this ready-to-use microcement kit for up to 4 m² of concrete or cement stairs —and these easy-to-follow instructions— transforming your steps is easier than you think. No experience needed, no stress, and no back-breaking work.
1. Deep clean
Remove dust, grease, or any construction residues. The surface must be dry, solid and crack-free. If it's not stable... fix it first!
2. First contact
Apply Smart Primer ABS with a roller and let it dry for 30 minutes. This prepares the absorbent surface for proper microcement adhesion.
3. First microcement layers with attitude
Apply two coats of Smart Base. Use the Smart Roller (vertical, then horizontal), and smooth it with a polycarbonate trowel at a 45° angle. Sand between coats with 40-grit sandpaper and allow 6 hours between layers. This is where the magic begins.
4. Final coats with style
Now it’s time for Smart Medio. Two thin coats that unify, beautify, and add grip. Sand between them with 80-grit and leave 6 hours between layers. You won’t stop walking up and down!
5. The final touch that seals it all
Smart Varnish + Smart Booster = the dream team. Apply 3 coats, sanding the first two with 400-grit. Choose a matte or satin finish. Wait 7 days for full curing — and show off your masterpiece.
💡 Pro tips that make a difference:
✔️ Trowel at a 45° angle = smooth application.
✔️ Thin coats = professional result.
✔️ Hand sanding = no marks. (Avoid electric sanders, they can burn the surface!)
