What the Microcement Kit 4 m² · floors and stairs · plasterboard or cement contains

This kit covers 4 m² of floor or staircase and contains everything needed to completely change the look of the room, with no building work and without hiring labour.

It is intended for porous surfaces: cement, concrete, mortar, self-levelling screed, plaster and plasterboard.

Inside the box, each product is designed to make the renovation simple and quick, with a continuous, hard-wearing finish:

• 1 × Smart Primer ABS (0,5 L): primer that regulates the pore of porous surfaces —cement, concrete, mortar, self-levelling screed, plaster or plasterboard— and prepares the surface for the microcement.
• 1 × Smart Base (8 Kg): pigmented preparation microcement. It gives body and stability to the surface.
• 1 × Smart Medio (4 Kg): ready-to-use finishing microcement. Hard-wearing and with the right texture for daily use in the kitchen.
• 1 × Smart Varnish (1 L): water-based varnish that protects against stains, damp and splashes. Available in a matt or satin finish.
• 1 × Smart Booster (50 g): additive that increases the hardness and resistance of the varnish.
• 3 × Grit 40 discs: for sanding the Smart Base and leaving the surface smooth.
• 5 × Grit 80 discs: for sanding between Smart Medio layers and achieving a continuous finish.
• 3 × Grit 400 discs: for refining between varnish layers and achieving a uniform finish.

The tools are not included. The dedicated Smartcret kit brings together the burn-resistant trowel, Smart Roller, tape, tray and the rest of the necessary implements; using other untested tools can harm the finish.

How to apply the 4 m² microcement kit for cement or concrete kitchen floors: small space, big change

4 m² of kitchen floor in cement, concrete or self-levelling compound? Perfect. This microcement kit is here to prove that no kitchen is too small for a makeover. No building work, no contractors, no stress. Just you, your motivation—and these steps.

1. Prepare the surface

Clean the floor thoroughly: dry, grease-free and dust-free. Any cracks or irregularities? Fix them before moving on. A good base = guaranteed success.

2. Prime with Smart Primer ABS

Grab the orange roller and apply an even coat of primer. Let it dry for about 30 minutes. This step is key to make sure everything else sticks properly.

3. Preparation layer with Smart Base

Stir well and apply 2 thin coats (less than 1 mm each). Use the Smart Roller and smooth with the polycarbonate trowel at a 45° angle. Let each coat dry for 6 hours and sand with grit 40. Your small absorbent kitchen floor is already starting to transform.

4. Finish with Smart Medio

Apply 2 thin coats of Smart Medio the same way: Smart Roller, trowel at 45°, 6 hours drying and sanding with grit 80 between coats. Now your small floor starts to shine big.

5. Protect with Smart Varnish + Smart Booster

Mix the varnish with the additive and apply 3 coats, letting 4 hours of drying time between each. Sand the first and second coats with grit 400. After 7 days of curing, your kitchen floor will be ready to show off.

🚨 Important: always keep the trowel at a 45° angle and sand by hand to avoid damaging the finish. Don’t use an electric sander: too much pressure can burn the microcement.
