If your kitchen floor is made of cement, plaster, self-levelling compound or similar, this kit was made for you. A complete solution for renovating large surfaces without building work, debris or drama. You apply it yourself, at your own pace, with a flawless finish.
Every product in this microcement kit for absorbent kitchen floors is designed to cover up to 96 m² with long-lasting, even and stylish results. Here’s what’s inside:
- 12 × Smart Primer ABS (1 L): water-based primer that opens the pore of absorbent surfaces. Preps the floor for a smooth ride from step one.
- 12 × Smart Base (16 Kg): pigmented base microcement. Adds body, balance and stability to the surface.
- 6 × Smart Medio (16 Kg): ready-to-use finishing microcement. Stronger and with the ideal texture for busy kitchen floors.
- 4 × Smart Varnish (5 L): water-based varnish that seals and protects against stains, splashes and moisture. Available in matte or satin finish.
- 4 × Smart Booster (250 g): additive that boosts the varnish’s toughness to the max. Because a kitchen floor needs serious resilience.
- 72 × Grit 40 sandpapers: to smooth Smart Base and get it ready for the next layer.
- 120 × Grit 80 sandpapers: for buffing between coats of Smart Medio. The secret to a continuous look.
- 72 × Grit 400 sandpapers: for perfecting the varnish between layers. Because details matter.

Application
How to apply the microcement kit for absorbent kitchen floors – 96 m² of DIY power
When you’re facing a kitchen floor as big as a dance hall, you need a plan that’s simple, effective and easy to follow. Good news: this kit is made for absorbent surfaces like cement, plaster or self-levelling compound. And best of all? You can apply it yourself. No building work. No dust. No stress.
Just follow these steps and get ready to transform your floor with a flawless, durable finish:
1. Prep the surface
Make sure the kitchen floor is clean, dry and free of grease, dust or moisture. It must be solid and in good condition. If it’s not… time for a quick fix!
📌 Smart tip: mark out the work zones with masking tape for mess-free precision.
2. Apply Smart Primer ABS
Roll on a thin, even coat of Smart Primer ABS. It’s specially designed for absorbent surfaces. Let it dry for about 30 minutes.
3. Create a solid base with Smart Base
Stir well and apply 2 thin coats (less than 1 mm each) of Smart Base. Spread with the Smart Roller, then smooth with the polycarbonate trowel at a 45° angle. Wait 6 h between coats and sand with grit 40.
4. Time for Smart Medio finish
Apply 2 thin coats of Smart Medio (max 0.5 mm per coat). Use the same method: roller, 45° trowel, 6 h drying, sanding with grit 80. This is where the magic really kicks in.
5. Seal with Smart Varnish + Smart Booster
Mix Smart Varnish with Smart Booster and apply 3 coats, waiting 4 h between each. Sand the first and second coat with grit 400. After 7 days of curing, your floor is ready to shine—and handle real life.
🚨 Important: Always hold the trowel at 45° for a uniform finish. Only use the recommended tools (like those in our tools kit). Always sand by hand to avoid damaging the microcement. If you’re using a power sander, go easy on the pressure.
