Ninety-six square metres is an entire home. This kit brings together the material needed to cover 96 m² of tile, terrazzo, marble or stone slab without removing the old floor, which is what turns changing a floor into weeks of building work.

At this volume the floors of the whole house sit under one shade with not a single grout line: from hallway to living room, from corridor to bedrooms, with no transition profiles and no change of material between rooms. That continuity is what makes a home feel larger and brighter, and the higher-grip finish is calculated to take daily traffic in every area.

The kit includes the filler for covering and levelling the grout lines of the existing floor, the maximum-adhesion primer for glazed surfaces, the preparation and finishing microcement already pigmented, the water-based varnish in large format with its hardener and the sanding discs in every grit. All ready to use: nothing to tint, nothing to measure out and no rubble, working room by room at your own pace.

Colour: swatches and NCS equivalences are indicative. The actual result may vary depending on your screen, the lighting of the space, the surface and the application.

Before you buy

Check if this kit is right for your bathroom

This solution is designed to renovate jointed surfaces (tiles, mosaic, floor tiles…) without removing them. Check these four points before choosing size and colour.

Compatible surface

Surfaces with stable joints: tiles, mosaic, floor tiles, terrazzo or marble. This is not the right kit for plaster, drywall or cement substrates.

Coverage

Measure the height × width of each surface. The calculator adds a 10% margin and recommends the right kit size, or a combination for larger projects.

What's included

Joint filler, primer, microcement base coats, finish, varnish, additive and sandpaper: the complete layer-by-layer system.

What you need separately

Sealer roller, polycarbonate trowel and basic tools. You can find them in microcement tools.

FREE shipping included in the price. Delivery times depend on your country; you will see the estimate at checkout.

Everything you need to know before you start

What’s included and what do I need separately?

The kit includes all the Smartcret system products needed for your surface and your square metres: you will find them detailed one by one, with their quantities, in the ‘Description’ tab below. You will also need a sealer roller, a polycarbonate trowel and basic protection and application tools. The microcement comes ready to use, already pigmented; only the final coat of varnish is mixed with its booster.

How do I choose the coverage?

Measure the surface to be covered: for walls, width × height of each section; for floors, worktops or furniture, length × width of each face. Subtract only large openings, add up the total and add a 10% margin. Choose the kit whose m² is equal to or greater than the result; if in doubt between two, go for the larger one. You can also use the calculator in the selector.

How long does the project take?

The full project takes 3 days. The varnish reaches full cure from 7 days.

Can I return or exchange the kit?

Yes: you have 14 days from delivery for exchanges and returns. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense and your order number is enough for us. See the full conditions.

Is it right for my surface?

Each kit is formulated for a specific project and surface: you will find it in the kit name and in the line with ✓ above the coverage selector. If your surface is different (for example, plasterboard instead of tiles), use the assistant at the top and we will take you to the right kit. First repair any loose piece, active crack or damp problem.

Description

What the Microcement Kit 96 m² · floors · tile contains

This kit covers up to 96 m² of grouted floor and is designed for large-area renovations.

It renews glazed surfaces with grout lines —terrazzo, marble, stone slab, tile, mosaic tile, stoneware or porcelain— with no building work, no dust and no rubble, applied directly over the previous floor.

It is a layered system that gives a continuous result, with more grip underfoot, a sense of visual space and easy cleaning. For an optimal finish it is essential to use the right tools: those not tested by Smartcret can affect the final look of the floor.

The tools are not included in the kit, but you can add them to the basket. These are the products you will find in the kit to renew your floor:

  • 12 x Smart Jointer (1,5 Kg): for filling and levelling the grout lines, leaving the surface smooth and prepared.
  • 12 x Smart Primer PLUS (1 L): maximum-adhesion primer for glazed surfaces such as terrazzo, marble, mosaic tile, porcelain, tile or stone slab.
  • 12 x Smart Base (16 Kg): preparation microcement, ready to use and pigmented. The product responsible for evening out the surface.
  • 6 x Smart Medio (16 Kg): finishing microcement, already coloured. It provides the texture with more grip and resistant to daily wear.
  • 4 x Smart Varnish (5 L): water-based varnish, in a matt or satin finish, that seals the colour and protects against stains, damp and heavy use.
  • 4 x Smart Booster (250 gr): additive that reinforces the chemical and mechanical resistance of the varnish.
  • 72 x Grit 40 discs: for sanding Smart Jointer and Smart Base.
  • 120 x Grit 80 discs: for sanding Smart Medio.
  • 72 x Grit 400 discs: for smoothing the first varnish layers.
Additional information

Key things to keep in mind to renovate your floor like a professional

Before starting a large-scale renovation, it is important to be clear about a few key points so that the finish on your floor is not just good, but excellent. By following these tips, you will renovate your floor like a professional.

🧱 Is the substrate in good condition?

  • A good base is essential to ensure an even result. Check the condition of the floor before starting the renovation. There should be no cracks, fissures, chips or any kind of damage.
  • Any small imperfection will be visually reproduced by the microcement, which is why it is important to repair any irregularities now.

👣 Drying, curing and when you can walk on the floor

Patience is truly put to the test in large-scale projects:

  • The Smart Varnish + Smart Booster mixture has a 24-hour pot life. After that, it can no longer be used and must be discarded.
  • The floor should not be walked on for at least 48 to 72 hours after the varnish has been applied.
  • To reach its maximum performance, the varnish needs a full 7 days of curing before it can be used normally.

Important: the floor will feel dry to the touch much sooner, but the varnish will still be curing internally. That is why it is necessary to respect the full drying and curing time.

🪑 Do not drag furniture and chairs

Your new floor can handle the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but it is not designed to withstand heavy dragging across the surface. So taking a few small precautions to extend its lifespan is always worthwhile:

  • Do not drag furniture directly across the floor.
  • Use protectors on the legs or supports of chairs, stools, sofas, armchairs and similar items.

🧽 Cleaning and maintenance during the first few days

Avoid cleaning your floor during the first week, as the varnish is still curing and does not need any cleaning products. Once that time has passed, maintenance is very simple:

  • Clean with water and pH-neutral soap.
  • Avoid using bleach, ammonia, abrasive products, scouring pads or metal brushes that could damage the finish.
  • Be careful with liquid spills and standing water. Dry them as soon as possible. Your floor will withstand occasional contact with liquids, but not if they remain in constant contact for hours.

🪶 Application on large areas: thin coats and gentle sanding

On large areas, it is important to work with care to achieve the right result:

  • Apply thin coats following the interactive guide.
  • Respect the drying times between each coat.
  • Use the correct grit for sanding at each stage of the process.
  • Keep the trowel at a 45° angle for an even application.

Following the step-by-step application process is essential for a spectacular result, especially on larger surfaces.

⚒️ The right tools for an optimal result

Using the right tools to apply microcement will prevent the material from being “burnt” or left with a poor texture.

The tools are not included in the kit, but you can add the Smartcret tool kit to your purchase to ensure a professional finish.

🎯 Result

By following these recommendations and tips, your microcement floor will keep its beautiful, durable and freshly finished look for longer.

Application

How to apply your 96 m² microcement kit for terrazzo, tile or marble floors (without getting lost along the way)

This kit is designed for large-scale projects where the floor renovation must be carried out in a specific order and using the right tools for the job. Here are the process guidelines in detail:

1. Preparation: clean thoroughly and inspect every detail

  • Sweep well or vacuum thoroughly and then mop to remove any dirt or residue that may be left.
  • A floor in good condition will provide the perfect base for microcement. So if there is any damage, now is the time to carry out the necessary repairs.

2. Smart Jointer: cover the joints

  • Covering the joints will be the first step towards a seamless and even floor.
  • Let it dry for 24 hours.
  • Sand with 40-grit sandpaper and remove any remaining dust.

3. Smart Primer PLUS: maximum adhesion between the floor and the microcement

  • Apply the primer with a roller.
  • Let it dry for 30 minutes.

4. Smart Base: the transformation becomes visible

  • Apply a thin coat with the Smart Roller and smooth it with the trowel at a 45° angle.
  • Let it dry for 6 hours.
  • Sand gently with 40-grit sandpaper.
  • Apply a second coat in the same way.

5. Smart Medio: texture and character for the floor

  • Apply a thin coat with the Smart Roller and smooth it with the trowel.
  • Let it dry for 6 hours.
  • Sand with 80-grit sandpaper.
  • Repeat the process with the second and final coat.

6. Varnish + Booster: sealing, protection and extra resistance

  • Mix the two products and shake them well.
  • Apply a total of 3 coats with a roller.
  • Let each coat dry for 4 hours.
  • Sand gently after the first and second coats.

7. Curing: where patience makes an appearance

  • Although it will be dry to the touch after the first 48 to 72 hours, the microcement will reach its maximum resistance after 7 days of curing.
  • Do not drag furniture or walk on it in high heels during those days.

Do it without getting lost with the DIY guide!
