This solution is designed to renovate jointed surfaces (tiles, mosaic, floor tiles…) without removing them. Check these four points before choosing size and colour.

Compatible surface

Surfaces with stable joints: tiles, mosaic, floor tiles, terrazzo or marble. This is not the right kit for plaster, drywall or cement substrates.

Coverage

Measure the height × width of each surface. The calculator adds a 10% margin and recommends the right kit size, or a combination for larger projects.

What you need separately

What’s included and what do I need separately?

The kit includes all the Smartcret system products needed for your surface and your square metres: you will find them detailed one by one, with their quantities, in the ‘Description’ tab below. You will also need a sealer roller, a polycarbonate trowel and basic protection and application tools. The microcement comes ready to use, already pigmented; only the final coat of varnish is mixed with its booster.

How do I choose the coverage?

Measure the surface to be covered: for walls, width × height of each section; for floors, worktops or furniture, length × width of each face. Subtract only large openings, add up the total and add a 10% margin. Choose the kit whose m² is equal to or greater than the result; if in doubt between two, go for the larger one. How long does the project take?

The full project takes 3 days. The varnish reaches full cure from 7 days.

Can I return or exchange the kit?

Yes: you have 15 days from receipt for exchanges and returns. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense and you will need the invoice to process it. See the full conditions.

Is it right for my surface?

Each kit is formulated for a specific project and surface: you will find it in the kit name and in the line with ✓ above the coverage selector. If your surface is different (for example, plasterboard instead of tiles), use the assistant at the top and we will take you to the right kit. First repair any loose piece, active crack or damp problem.

This microcement kit is designed to cover 16 m² of non-absorbent surfaces—such as tiles, terrazzo, mosaic, marble or porcelain—and say goodbye to grout lines once and for all.

Ready to use, with everything you need from the first joint fill to the final varnish. No calculations, no extra shopping, and quantities measured so you can work confidently and finish saying, “I did this myself!”

Inside you’ll find:

2 × Smart Jointer (1.5 Kg) – Joint filler to fill and level joints and seams.
2 × Smart Primer PLUS (1 L) – All-round primer to ensure adhesion on non-absorbent surfaces: tiles, mosaic, terrazzo, marble…
2 × Smart Base (16 Kg) – Pigmented preparation microcement with strength and body.
1 × Smart Medio (16 Kg) – Fine, smooth, continuous pigmented finishing microcement.
2 × Smart Varnish (2 L) – Matte or satin water-based varnish, protecting against water, humidity, stains and splashes.
2 × Smart Booster (100 g) – Additive that boosts the varnish’s chemical resistance.
12 × 40-grit sandpapers – For initial sanding of Smart Jointer and Smart Base.
20 × 80-grit sandpapers – For smoothing between coats of Smart Medio.
12 × 400-grit sandpapers – For fine sanding between coats of Smart Varnish.

How to apply the microcement kit for 16 m² non-absorbent kitchen floors like a pro

Your kitchen deserves a floor with character, seamless—and tough enough for everything. With this microcement kit for non-absorbent kitchen floors up to 16 m² you’ll get a continuous, non-slip, stylish surface built for high traffic: from family rush hours to baking marathons where more flour hits the floor than the bowl.

Ready to use and easy to apply, it covers every centimetre of tiles, terrazzo, mosaic, marble or porcelain stoneware with no building work—so grout lines become history. Here’s the step-by-step to create a durable, modern and super-easy-to-clean floor.

1) Fill and level the joints

Clean thoroughly (no grease, dust or food residue). The substrate must be dry and solid. Use Smart Jointer to fill every joint flush. Let dry 24 h and sand with 40-grit.

💡 Smartcret tip: tape off working areas with masking tape to stay comfortable and in control.

2) Prime for maximum adhesion

With a roller, apply an even coat of Smart Primer PLUS. It ensures grip on non-absorbent surfaces such as tiles, slabs or marble. Let dry 30 min before continuing.

3) Base coat: strength & resistance

Stir Smart Base well and apply two thin coats (< 1 mm each) with Smart Roller, smoothing with the trowel at 45°. Sand with 40-grit between coats and allow 6 h drying between them. This is where the magic starts.

4) Smooth, seamless finish

Apply two thin coats of Smart Medio (< 0.5 mm each) using the same method: Smart Roller, trowel at 45°, 6 h drying between coats and light sanding with 80-grit. Your floor is already showing its new look.

5) Final protection

Mix Smart Varnish with Smart Booster and apply 3 coats, allowing 4 h between coats. Lightly sand the first and second coats with 400-grit. After 7 days of curing, your microcement kitchen floor is ready for meals, parties and recipe marathons.

💡 Important: keep the trowel at a 45° angle, respect drying times, apply in thin coats, and avoid power sanders (the supplied grits are intended for manual sanding).
