Open the box and get started. What you have in front of you isn’t just tubs and sandpaper: it’s the recipe to transform up to 4 m² of your kitchen floor into a space that looks far bigger than it measures.
In the box you’ll find:
- 1 × Smart Jointer (1.5 Kg) – Fills and levels grout lines to prepare the base for the next step.
- 1 × Smart Primer PLUS (0.5 L) – Primer for maximum adhesion on non-absorbent surfaces.
- 1 × Smart Base (8 kg) – Base microcement.
- 1 × Smart Medio (4 kg) – Finishing microcement.
- 1 × Smart Varnish (1 L) – Water-based varnish, matte or satin, protects against humidity, stains and wear.
- 1 × Smart Booster (50 g) – Reinforces the chemical resistance of the varnish.
- 3 × 40-grit sandpapers – For the initial sanding of Smart Jointer and Smart Base.
- 5 × 80-grit sandpapers – For smoothing between coats of Smart Medio.

Fewer square metres, the same satisfaction: in just a few steps, you’ll turn that corner of your kitchen into a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean, durable and seamless floor. Because transforming your small kitchen isn’t about size, it’s about attitude. And with this microcement kit, in just a few days and without complications, you go from old grout lines to a modern, continuous floor. Here’s your guide to doing it yourself:
1. Goodbye grout lines, hello smooth base
Clean the floor thoroughly before applying our ready-to-use microcement. No grease, dust or food residues. Is it clean and dry? Then you’re ready! Use Smart Jointer to fill the grout lines. Let it dry for 24 h, sand with 40-grit paper and your surface is ready for the makeover.
2. Prepare the floor for adhesion
One coat of Smart Primer PLUS with a roller is enough to make sure the microcement adheres perfectly to tiles, marble or terrazzo. Half an hour of drying time and you’re set.
3. Time for microcement: hello Smart Base
Apply Smart Base, the pigmented preparation microcement, in two very thin layers. This is where the memory of those tiles starts to fade away. Wait 6 h between coats and sand with 40-grit paper.
4. Smart Medio works the magic
With a good base, everything is easier. Finish with Smart Medio, the coloured microcement topcoat. Its coarser aggregate gives the hardness, resistance and anti-slip texture your kitchen floor needs. Wait 6 h between coats, sand with 80-grit paper – and that’s when the magic happens! A smooth surface to the touch, full of personality.
5. Total protection
Mix Smart Varnish + Booster (let it rest 5–15 minutes) and apply three coats. Allow 4 h between coats. After 7 days – when the varnish reaches its full performance – your floor will be ready for anything: cooking, parties or whatever comes next.
💡 Smartcret tips: thin layers and patience are the secret. Don’t rush: the perfect finish comes step by step, and with 4 m² you’ll get there even faster. The result is worth it. Keep your trowel at a 45° angle. And forget about electric sanders – they could burn the material. Our sandpapers are designed for manual sanding.
