A ready-to-use kit with all the products you need to apply our DIY microcement over tiles, ceramics, mosaic, terrazzo, marble or porcelain stoneware. No building work, quick to apply and with a seamless finish that makes your kitchen look bigger and more modern.

Each product is formulated to deliver performance, durability and ease of application – even if it’s your first time holding a trowel. From the grout filler to the final varnish, everything is measured so you can work with confidence and enjoy the process as much as the result.

How to apply the microcement kit for 24 m² non-absorbent kitchen floors: medium size, huge results

24 m² is more than enough to give your kitchen a radical makeover… and with this microcement kit, the only thing that will feel big is the transformation. Application is just as easy as with smaller formats: same steps, same technique, same DIY spirit.

Follow this step-by-step process and transform your non-absorbent kitchen floor without lifting a single tile, with no building work and the confidence of having everything under control.

1. Prepare the surface

Clean the floor thoroughly: no grease, dust or food residue. It must be dry and solid. Then, fill the joints with Smart Jointer until completely level. After 24h, sand with 40-grit paper.

📌 Smartcret Tip: Tape off the application areas with masking tape for more comfortable work and no surprises.

2. Apply the primer

Using a roller, apply an even coat of Smart Primer PLUS. This primer ensures perfect adhesion of the microcement on non-absorbent surfaces such as tiles or marble. Let it dry for 30 minutes before continuing.

3. Create a solid base with Smart Base

Stir the product well and apply two thin coats of Smart Base (less than 1 mm per coat) using the Smart Roller and smoothing with a trowel at a 45° angle. Sand with 40-grit paper between coats, allowing 6 hours drying time between each. This is where the magic begins.

4. Define the finish with Smart Medio

Apply two thin coats of Smart Medio (less than 0.5 mm per coat) using the same method: Smart Roller, trowel at 45°, 6 hours drying between coats and gentle sanding with 80-grit paper. Now your kitchen floor is showing off its new style.

5. Protect your floor with Smart Varnish + Smart Booster

Mix Smart Varnish with Smart Booster and apply 3 coats, leaving 4 hours drying time between each. Sand the first and second coats with 400-grit paper. After 7 days of curing, your kitchen floor will be ready for everyday use… and for the “after” photos.

💡 Important: Always keep the trowel at a 45° angle during application. Use the right tools to avoid marks or burning the material. The supplied sandpapers are intended for manual sanding; avoid electric sanders as they may burn the material if too much pressure is applied.
